In your role as a legal officer, you will use your legal expertise across several areas handled by the Administrative Department by providing legal advice on matters such as digitalization, governing documents, contracts, administrative law, authority and responsibility issues, personnel administrative matters, and public access and confidentiality. You will be the contact person for one or more units within the Administrative Department.

The role also involves extensive contact with other units and departments within the Government Offices. Your role will also include participating in projects and training initiatives.

Your background

You have a law degree or equivalent. You have at least five years of experience in legal work that the employer deems relevant for the position. You have very good knowledge of administrative law. It is an advantage if you have a notary qualification. Experience working in the Government Offices or another authority is also advantageous, as well as good knowledge of public documents and issues regarding public access and confidentiality. We also welcome experience as a court of appeal or administrative court assessor. As we strive to become more digitalized in our work, we also hope you have relevant experience in digitalization.

Your qualities

The role requires you to have a well-developed ability to collaborate but also to be self-driven and able to work independently. Given the fast pace, you need to act quickly and be meticulous and quality-conscious. You also have the ability to adapt to changing conditions and can prioritize correctly under time pressure. Your analytical skills will also be necessary.

The employment begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.

The position is classified in a security class, and a security screening with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. You must be a Swedish citizen but may have a foreign background.
